So yesterday was Halloween, and I went trick-or-treating. I was very excited about it (and I DID get a bucketful of candy), but now I guess you could say I'm excited about not trick-or-treating next year. Here's why:
I was freezing. I wasn't wearing a jacket because I didn't want to ruin any of my wonderful Pippi-ness. It was in the low 50s the whole time
My shoes. My shoes were these clunky boots a little too big for me, and they are hard to walk around in.
After was the Halloweenie Roast. I thought we wouldn't be too late, but Valerie and Krissy and I got there at about 7:45. The food was packed up, the fire almost out, and everyone was inside. I roasted myself a marshmallow (which Joel set on fire for me) for a s'more and ate the s'more. It was yummy. Then we left.
Really, I would much rather go to the Halloweenie Roast when it starts instead of when it just ended. It is much more fun then walking around in the cold in clunky boots with a costume that only about 3 people recognized. Next year I WILL go to the Halloweenie Roast.
I am Pippi Longstocking. For Halloween, at least. I have an awesome costume that Valerie helped me with last week. I am going trick-or-treating with a friend and a sister tonight, and I am excited. Also tonight is the Halloweenie Roast, the best part of Halloween. Carly is planning on being a cowgirl, and she made a vest out of a paper bag. Miriam is also going to be a cowgirl. So anyway Happy Halloween to everyone!!
That's right, it's that time of year again! Get great back to school deals, like 99% percent off boredom! This offer is not available at public schools.
Well, here we are in another school year. I am so excited! On K12 (a virtual academy) I have French, Art, Science, Spelling, and way more! By the way, that ad up there means that this thing that I'm doing is 99% less boring than public school.
Also, I'm doing Pepementary. It's at PEP instead of the Treft's house. This year there's Science (we're learning about the weather), Art (my favorite (no surprise there)), Writing (second favorite- it's really fun!), Current Events (taught by a new person, Mrs. Bunse), and PE (Mom's the teacher!). It's really fun. Hopefully I'll get in the habit of doing more blog posts, because I think this is going to be a great year.
In KY, Haley's little brother, Jacob drew a mustache and beard on the Joe Jonas poster I gave Haley. That's all.
Does anyone know what that means?
Well, I'll tell you.
It means A Visit To Kentucky.
I will now tell about the VTKY.
The car ride there was very boring. When we got there, I gave Haley her birthday present. It was a poster of Joe Jonas, and a CD I burned for her.
Then we played horses.
Then Rock Band 2 (Joel got it for his birthday).
For dinner we had spaghetti.
At 6:30 Haley's guests started arriving for her birthday party. We had some of the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted. For her birthday she also got:
Lots of cards
Lots of money (52 dollars!!)
Charcoal pencils
A sketchbook
Oil pastels
A chocolate bar
A heart-shaped-pendant-making-with-paint-and-a-marker-and-string-and-pendants-set
Once everyone left, Haley and I ate some of the chocolate, and made a couple pendants. Then we made popcorn and watched Shrek 2. At about midnight, we fell asleep. We left their house at about seven.
It was awesome.
Here it is: WE GOT A DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's a golden retriever puppy named Juliette, as in Romeo and Juliet, just without the Romeo and and with a te at the end of Juliet. We just got her last night! I'll put some pictures once I take some. Oh, and we went to Kentucky this week. Aidan's birthday was on Thursday. He got a Webkinz husky which Judah then named wguu9xne. Oopsies. Haley and I made some bracelets and listened to a lot of Jonas Brothers music. It was fabulous, except when their cat, Toby, bit me when I was trying to go to sleep. Aidan also got some army men and me and Jacob and Haley played some, and we also played some Rummikub. But eventually we just stopped because no one was paying attention, because Jacob was "singing" different words to Burnin' Up, except he was more talking instead of singing. Arfradivelsti!
